My Favorite Tweets from #TheWalkingDead Finale

Am I the only one that thinks Sundays just got a little worse?  I was pretty late to hop on board The Walking Dead train but now that I have I can’t really  imagine being forced to wait an entire week between every single episode! A few weeks ago I started the series from episode one and went through it embarrassingly fast. I caught up just in time to catch the last two episodes of the season in their rightful place on Sunday nights. Heck, I honestly didn’t even know last week’s episode was the finale until it was over!

Although I’ve enjoyed the series, I definitely have my qualms with it, too. I can’t count the number of times I have actually screamed at— no, harassed the characters from my couch. And in this regard, it seems I am not alone. Perhaps my favorite experience of the show thus far was when #WalkingDead started trending on Twitter last Sunday during the finale. I found myself cracking up while reading what fans had to say. But if you missed out, don’t worry: I have compiled my favorite tweets regarding the series for you.

The Hershel Tweets: Possibly some of the funniest I found.

I guess people kind of notice how many times characters reload during a massive walker attack! There was definitely a lot of criticism towards the finale as evidenced by all the Disgusted Tweets. However, I think this one sums most of them up pretty well:

Which brings me to the (*drumroll please*) Lori + Carl Hate Tweets. Although I think every character’s actions/choices/lines can be questioned at some point or another, it really seems like there is a ton of constant hate surrounding this mother-son duo. I’m not sure I could find a single person that likes them if I tried.

Honestly though, Carl might seriously be the worst. Which brings us to some more good ones, the Truth Bomb Tweets. These tweets are like your 90 year old Grandma who says what everyone else is thinking but would never actually say at the Christmas dinner table.

Seriously though. . . I can’t even add anything to these because they all pretty much stand alone. So I will just move on to what has to be my favorite Hilarious Tweet of the night:

Anyone that can not only tie Home Alone and The Walking Dead together but also turn my favorite movie title into a verb is pretty much alright by me. I seriously still chuckle when I read it.

Since there are months left until the next season premieres, the cliffhangers involving Michonne and the prison seriously make me want to read the graphic novels. But part of me wants to keep on having no expectations of the show so I can see where it goes next. Either way, the burning question I am left with is this:

I mean, I don’t wanna get all Dawn of the Dead up in here, but I can’t be the only one wondering if something worse than Carl is brewing in Lori’s uterus?! Now we just gotta wait until October to find out.

Does anyone else follow what’s trending in the twittersphere? I must admit this was my first time but once I started laughing I knew I had to do more than simply retweet them.
